Gleiss Lutz has advised Warner Music Group on the sale of EMP Merchandising to the UK-based whynow Group.

Warner Music Group is a multinational entertainment and music label company headquartered in New York and one of the three largest music companies in the world. Founded in 1986, EMP Merchandising is one of Europe's leading retailers of rock and pop culture merchandise. The company serves more than 10 million customers. Founded in 2019 by Gabriel Jagger, the whynow Group brings together businesses including fan merchandise and documentary film production.
