Andreas primarily advises domestic and international clients on M&A for financial institutes and insurance companies as well as M&A in general. He also advises on corporate law and capital markets along with financial supervisory matters. Andreas is head of the Gleiss Lutz sector group Financial Institutions (FIG).
Andreas studied in Freiburg, Geneva and Düsseldorf (Dr. iur). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2019. He previously worked for an international law firm and is also admitted as Solicitor in England and Wales.
Andreas is a regular lecturer and speaker on corporate law, M&A and capital market related matters. He is a visiting lecturer at the EBS University Law School and at the University of Münster. He is a member of the Gesellschaftsrechtlichen Vereinigung (VGR), Deutsch-Amerikanischen Juristen-Vereinigung e.V. (DAJV), Deutsch-Britischen Juristenvereinigung e.V. and the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V.
