Alexander advises and represents clients in all matters of IP law, including on unfair competition, trademarks, design and copyright matters. He has also extensive expertise in IT law, particularly in connection with M&A transactions, transitional services and carve outs, drafting and negotiating complex IT agreements, issues in e-commerce and Internet law as well as IT-related litigation.

Vita

Alexander studied at the universities of Berlin and Cambridge (LL.M. 2004). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2007. Alexander is a certified information technology law attorney. In 2011, Alexander was seconded to a leading US technology and life sciences law firm in Mountain View and San Francisco, where he worked in the area of corporate transactions (with a particular focus on technology transactions).

He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR), the German Association for Law and Computer Science (DGRI) and the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw).

He speaks German and English.
