Associate
As an associate, you will take on responsibility early and learn directly from leading experts in your field. You will further develop your legal skills while steadily building a strong professional network.
Associated partner
From your fourth year, you may be appointed associated partner and further expand your expertise through complex, high-profile matters. Secondments in Germany or abroad offer additional opportunity to broaden your horizon. Our mentoring programme supports your continued development and helps you advance your career with focus and direction.
Partner / Counsel
Typically after seven years, you reach a pivotal milestone: the decision between partnership or appointment as counsel. As a partner, you take on commercial responsibility, steer mandates and direct teams at the highest level, provide strategic leadership, and actively drive innovation. As counsel, you are a recognised specialist in your field and take on key responsibility in complex matters, playing a central role for the firm.
As a project associate, you will be directly involved in challenging cases and work at the intersection of law, business and technology – always with an eye on the latest developments. You will work directly on casework, engage with clients, and take ownership of your defined area of responsibility. You will receive targeted professional development through our academy and close personal support from your tutor and team.
Your career journey will progress through three clearly defined stages:
Project associate
You will work directly on casework, taking on immediate responsibility within project management
Senior project associate
You will independently lead sub-projects, collaborate closely with clients, and coordinate across interdisciplinary teams.
Managing project associate
You will oversee complex cases, lead teams, and play a central role in shaping strategic projects.
