Gleiss Lutz has advised Nextpower (Nasdaq: NXT), a leading provider of solar and power technology solutions, on the agreement to acquire Zimmermann PV-Steel Group, a Germany-based solar technology provider with more than 20 gigawatts (GW) deployed and deep market presence in Germany, one of Europe’s largest solar markets.
The total consideration for the transaction is comprised of cash and stock up to €330 million and is subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory review.

Founded in 1950 and active in the solar industry since 2009, Zimmermann PV-Steel Group develops plans and supplies precision-engineered structural solutions for projects across Europe and other markets.
