Ali-Hasan specialises in banking, finance and capital markets. He advises large corporations, companies, banks and other financial institutions on capital markets transactions as well as national and international financing transactions across a wide range of industries and asset classes, with a particular focus on complex issues relating to restructurings, syndicated loans and acquisition financings. His practice also includes advising clients on M&A deals.
Ali-Hasan studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, specialising in European and International Law. He subsequently completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main. In addition, he holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from King’s College London, graduating with Distinction and receiving The David D. Caron Memorial Prize in recognition of his outstanding overall performance as the “Best Student on the LL.M. (General)" for the 2024/25 academic year. Alongside his legal training, he gained several years of practical experience at leading international law firms in Frankfurt am Main, including Magic Circle firms. He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2024 - initially based in the firm's London office while pursuing his LL.M. studies, before joining the Frankfurt office as a practicing lawyer in 2025.
