Jacob is specialised in public law. His practice focus is on regulatory law in the energy sector, foreign trade law, subsidies and state aid as well as building, planning and environmental law. He advises in M&A-transactions with a public law focus and in real estate project developments, particularly in the energy and retail sectors.

Vita

Jacob studied at the Universities of Oxford and Mannheim and has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2016. Up until 2010 he worked for an international law firm in Düsseldorf. In 2010 Jacob became a certified administrative law attorney.

He is a member of the German Bar Association’s Administrative Law Working Group (DAV) and the German Society for Construction Law (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Baurecht).

Jacob speaks German and English.
