Lars advises on public and regulatory law. In recent years, he has advised in numerous corporate transactions on various issues of environmental, energy and construction law matters. Besides transactions, his main focus is on legal issues of the regulated industry, in particular the energy industry, as well as administrative and constitutional law. He is author of numerous publications in these areas.

Vita

Lars studied at the University of Leipzig. He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2016. He previously was an assistant to Prof. Dr. Köck at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig, where he also wrote his doctoral thesis. This doctoral thesis was awarded the 2019 Dr.-Feldbausch-Prize of the University of Leipzig and the 2019 Doctoral Prize of Stiftung Umweltenergierecht Würzburg. During his legal training he worked for the Senate Administration for Urban Development in Berlin and the German Embassy in Finland. Lars speaks German and English.
