Gleiss Lutz advises Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions on acquisition of VERMOP

A Gleiss Lutz team has advised Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions GmbH on its acquisition of VERMOP Salmon GmbH. The contract for the acquisition was signed on 17 May 2023, and the antitrust authorities have now approved the transaction.

Headquartered in Weinheim, Germany, Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions is one of the eleven business groups of the globally active Freudenberg Group, a leading international provider of cleaning solutions and innovative systems as well as the undertaking behind the Vileda Professional brand.

VERMOP is based in Gilching near Munich and has production facilities in Wertheim, Baden-Württemberg. With just under 330 employees, it is a highly innovative company that offers modular cleaning systems for cleaning professionals.
