He has long-standing experience in cross-border transactions, carve-outs, joint ventures and complex licensing. Matthias advises clients in a wide range of industries, in particular from the automotive, software, technology and consumer goods sectors.
Matthias studied at the universities of Passau and London (LL.M. 2003). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2006. Matthias is a certified intellectual property law attorney. In 2011, he spent time on a secondment to a leading Intellectual Property law firm in Washington, DC. Matthias regularly gives lectures for clients or students on topics related to IP and unfair competition law.
He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR).
