Johann is Co-Managing Partner of the firm. He advises on all issues relating to German and international tax law. His practice focuses on the structuring of M&A and real estate transactions, on the tax aspects of reorganizations and restructurings as well as on tax litigation.
Johann studied in Augsburg, Geneva and New York (LL.M. 2004). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2013. He has been a certified tax advisor since 2010.
From 2005 to 2006 Johann worked as a management consultant and was on secondment with an international New York law firm from 2011 to 2012.
He is a member of the German-American Lawyers Association (DAJV).
