Doris-Maria studied law at the University of Marburg. She has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2002. Doris-Maria is a certified labour law attorney. In 1999 she was seconded to an international law firm in Chicago.
She is chair of the board of the German Bar Association’s Labour Law Working Group, a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the German-American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV), as well as the Hamburger Verein für Arbeitsrecht e.V. In addition she is a member of the supervisory board of the DeutscheAnwaltAkademie and the organizing committee of the Deutsche Arbeitsrechtstag. Furthermore, Doris-Maria is an author of the employment law column in the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.
