
Gleiss Lutz has advised the US listed company ESAB Corporation on the acquisition of Bavaria Schweisstechnik.
On 30 April 2025, ESAB successfully completed the acquisition of Bavaria Schweisstechnik.
ESAB Corporation, headquartered in North Bethesda, Maryland, is a focused premier industrial compounder, providing its partners with fabrication technology, advanced equipment, consumables, gas control equipment, robotics and digital solutions. It employs around 9,300 people and supplies customers in around 150 countries. This strategic move enhances ESAB’s consumables portfolio and aligns ESAB’s proprietary consumables offering towards faster-growing end markets.
Bavaria Schweisstechnik, based in Unterschleißheim, is a company with its own development and production facility for welding flux and filler materials for submerged arc welding applications.
