Gleiss Lutz has advised AUMOVIO SE on the sale of its Rheinböllen site to RHB-Industries, a company founded by the transformation consulting firm FalkenSteg.
The technology company AUMOVIO manufactures brake calipers and electric parking brakes at its Rheinböllen site and develops and manufactures autonomous mobile robots. RHB-Industries is taking over all business operations as well as the 320 employees at the site. RHB-Industries plans to introduce contract manufacturing in the brake sector at the Rheinböllen site and has committed to developing sustainable business concepts to ensure long-term production and employment at the site.
The transaction is subject to the usual conditions and approvals and is expected to be completed in mid-2026. Both companies have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
