Katja avises in national and international finance transactions, in particular acquisition financings, infrastructure financings, takeover financings, syndicated, unitranche, term loan B and mezzanine/second lien financings, general corporate lending as well as Schuldschein issuances and restructurings. Her clients include financial institutions, private debt funds, private equity investors and corporates.
Katja graduated from Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Dr. jur.) and University College London (LL.M. in International Banking and Finance). Prior to joining Gleiss Lutz in 2021, she worked for internationally leading British and US-American law firms and was seconded to an investment bank in London. From April 2025 to June 2025 she was on secondment with Cuatrecasa in Barcelona and Madrid. Katja speaks German, English and Spanish.
