Gleiss Lutz advises Triumph Science and Technology Group on the sale of Singulus shares

Gleiss Lutz has advised the listed Chinese Triumph Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. ("Triumph"), a manufacturer of specialty glass and display technologies, on the sale of shares in SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG ("Singulus") to a European investor. 

Triumph is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and is one of the world’s leading suppliers of ultra-thin glass for displays and touchscreens. Singulus, headquartered in Kahl am Main, is an internationally active machinery and equipment manufacturer specializing in thin-film technology and surface treatment, developing production systems for the solar, semiconductor and medical technology industries, among others.

A corresponding share purchase agreement for the sale of approximately 1.5 million Singulus shares (approximately 16.75%) held by Triumph has been signed by both parties and remains subject to approval by the relevant government authorities in China.
