Gleiss Lutz, Herbert Smith and Stibbe, together with US law firm Morgan Lewis, have advised Pearson plc on the acquisition of Harcourt Assessment and Harcourt Education International from Reed Elsevier with a transaction volume of USD 950 million. The acquisition is still subject to clearance by the antitrust authorities.
