Gleiss Lutz expands London office with dispute resolution partner Björn P. Ebert

Gleiss Lutz is expanding its London presence with co-resident partner Dr. Björn P. Ebert, who will strengthen the firm's dispute resolution practice there starting
1 August 2026. Ebert specialises in international arbitration and investment arbitration, as well as in the enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign judgments.

With Ebert's move, Gleiss Lutz is consistently pursuing its international strategy, which aims to achieve greater visibility as a leading German business law firm on the international stage.

Dr. Ralf Morshäuser, co-managing partner at Gleiss Lutz, comments: "Björn Ebert is an ideal addition to our London office, bringing his expertise in international arbitration and enforcement. This move underscores our strategy of systematically expanding our contacts with leading law firms and institutions in London and becoming even more visible internationally as a top-tier German firm."

"London is one of the most important hubs for international arbitration worldwide. A permanent presence on the ground is essential to support our clients even better in this environment and to deepen our international relationships on a sustainable basis," says Ebert, explaining his move to London.

Dr. Andrea Leufgen, head of dispute resolution at Gleiss Lutz, emphasises: "Our dispute resolution practice already has a strong focus on cross-border mandates. With Björn Ebert's move to London, we will become even more visible in the international market environment."

In London, Ebert will work as co-resident partner alongside transactions partner Dr. Olaf Hohlefelder. Gleiss Lutz will continue to advise exclusively on German and European law. The London presence serves to provide targeted client support, strengthen international networks, and acquire mandates managed out of London.
