Gleiss Lutz advises Heidelberg Materials on acquisition of RWG

A Gleiss Lutz team has advised Heidelberg Materials on the acquisition of RWG I Holding GmbH from Adcuram Group. The closing of the transaction is subject to the customary regulatory clearances and is scheduled for Q1 2023.

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest integrated manufacturers of building materials and solutions, with leading market positions in cement, aggregates and ready-mixed concrete. The group has over 51,000 employees at around 3,000 locations in over 50 countries.

RWG offers integrated solutions in the construction materials recycling and demolition sector and is the market leader in the greater Berlin area. With its acquisition of RWG, Heidelberg Materials aims to strengthen its offering of circular materials to meet the growing demand for sustainable building materials.
