Gleiss Lutz advises AUMOVIO on EUR 350 million settlement and billion euro technology partnership with BMW

Gleiss Lutz has advised AUMOVIO SE ("AUMOVIO") on a settlement with the BMW Group ("BMW").

The settlement resolves all legal disputes relating to an integrated brake system that AUMOVIO – formerly Continental's Automotive business area – manufactures for BMW. Under the settlement, a payment of EUR 350 million will be made to BMW.

AUMOVIO and BMW have also agreed on a wide-ranging, long-term supply and development agreement to strengthen their business relationship and expand their technology partnership. This includes new orders with a volume of more than EUR 1 billion.
