Florian Valentin Schuler advises on litigation, commecial contracts and product liability. His practice focuses in particular on the litigious enforcement, negotiation and drafting of complex civil law contracts. Another focus of his work is advising on ESG issues, in particular greenwashing, compliance systems and contract drafting with regard to ESG requirements, especially in the area of supply chain obligations (German Supply Chain Act/EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive). A further focus is advising on digital future matters, in particular product-related requirements in the areas of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Vita

Florian Valentin Schuler completed his studies at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg (with additional qualification in economics) and at the University of Cambridge in England. He was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. Before joining Gleiss Lutz as a solicitor in 2021, he gained experience in litigation at leading British and American law firms. He completed an external client secondment at a leading automotive manufacturer in the area of supply chain compliance.
