Andrea advises domestic and international clients on complex matters of German and European competition/antitrust law. Andrea is an expert in defending companies in international cartel cases and has longstanding experience in assisting clients in civil antitrust damages proceedings throughout Germany and across multiple jurisdictions. She worked at the firm’s London office for several years, where she obtained a particular expertise in managing antitrust and antitrust damages proceedings in the United Kingdom. She also regularly advises on merger control proceedings and compliance issues.
Andrea studied at the University of Tübingen and Würzburg. She has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2016. As part of her legal clerkship Andrea worked in the field of competition law for Gleiss Lutz in Stuttgart as well as an international law firm in Cape Town, South Africa.
She is a member of the Competition Section of the UK Law Society as well the Association for the Study of Antitrust Law where she heads the regional subsection in Hamburg.
