Gleiss Lutz advises Centre Testing International on the acquisition of imat-uve

A Gleiss Lutz team has advised Centre Testing International Group Co., Ltd. ("CTI"), a leading Chinese service provider for testing, inspection and certification, on the acquisition of 90% of the shares in imat-uve gmbh, a German automotive service provider.

Established in 2003 and headquartered in Shenzhen, China, CTI provides testing, inspection and certification services and one-stop solutions for a broad range of industries. It employs more than 10,000 employees and operates a network of more than 150 laboratories in over 70 locations around the world. imat-uve is a German design and engineering company specialized in providing testing services in the areas of textile and automotive since its incorporation in 1989. In addition to its German headquarters in Mönchengladbach, the company has subsidiaries in China, the USA, Mexico and South Africa.
