Gleiss Lutz has advised the Taiwanese MPI Corporation (“MPI”) on its acquisition of AutomatisierungsTechnik Voigt GmbH (“ATV”). MPI will acquire 100% of the shares in ATV. The necessary regulatory clearances have already been obtained.
This acquisition will not only help MPI to expand its European territory, but also to strengthen its local operations and technical support. With MPI’s leading technology and distribution channel resources, it will also further boost MPI’s long-term business growth and revenue increase going forward.
ATV is a full-service provider of future-oriented automation solutions. Based in Dresden, Germany, ATV is a medium-sized company that has been active in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years, specializing in measurement and control technology. Devices for measuring, controlling, and transmitting are complemented by an extensive range of accessories and customized system solutions.
