Expertise

Lukas advises national and international clients on arbitration and on national as well as cross-border litigation before state courts. He has extensive expertise as counsel and arbitrator in both domestic and international arbitration proceedings (inter alia under the arbitration rules of the ICC, the DIS and the Swiss Chambers) with a special focus on project-related and construction disputes, post-M&A disputes, joint ventures and general commercial law. Lukas also specialises in litigation related to cartel damage claims, banking and finance and general commercial law.

Vita

Lukas studied at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg as well as in Boston and Oxford (M.Jur. 2008). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2013. Lukas is a member of the German-American as well as the German-British Lawyers' Associations. He is a lecturer at the Bucerius Law School for collective redress. Lukas speaks German and English.
