Michael studied law and political science at the University of Freiburg. He is a certified administrative law attorney. Michael has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 1986 and has been Of Counsel since 2017.
He is a member of the Constitutional Law Committee of the German Federal Bar and the “Road Law” Working Committee of the German Road and Traffic Research Association and an executive board member of the German Bar Association's Administrative Law Working Group. Moreover he is an advisory board member of the construction law journal “baurecht”, as well as co-editor of the Beck's Online Commentary on the Federal Building Code (BauGB) and the State Building Code of Baden-Württemberg (LBO BaWü).
Michael speaks German, English and French.
