At the same time, the Paracelsus Clinic Osnabrück will be integrated into the Niels-Stensen-Kliniken group. The closing of the transaction is subject to the customary antitrust and regulatory clearances.
Niels-Stensen-Kliniken will continue to operate and further develop the Paracelsus clinic Osnabrück at its present site for a transitional period of an estimated six years. Thereafter, plans call for the complete structural and functional integration of the clinic following the completion of a comprehensive new construction project at the site of the Marien Hospital which is already operated by the Niels-Stensen-Kliniken.
The objectives of the cooperation agreed upon are to provide an improved range of medical services overall, to modernise the existing structures in consultation with the Lower Saxony Ministry for Social Affairs, as well to carry out a conceptual reorientation and to cooperate on projects in the digital health sector in the future.
