M&A practice strengthened: Gleiss Lutz wins Wolfgang Sturm as Of Counsel

Wolfgang Sturm will join Gleiss Lutz's M&A practice as Of Counsel on 1 May 2022, working out of both the Düsseldorf and Hamburg office. He joins from Linklaters. Wolfgang Sturm has been a partner there since 2001. Prior to the merger with Linklaters, he had already been a partner at Oppenhoff & Rädler since 1997.

Wolfgang Sturm is regularly listed by JUVE as a leading M&A expert. He specialises in advising on cross-border private and public M&A transactions, joint ventures and upstream and downstream corporate restructurings.
Wolfgang Sturm headed Linklaters' German corporate practice from 2004 to 2007 and was a member of the German Executive Committee. He currently heads the German China desk and co-heads the Latin America desk as well as the global transport and logistics team.

The firm had only recently strengthened its finance and restructuring practice with Dr Christian Halàsz from Akin Gump. He has been supporting the firm's newly opened office in London since 1 March.
