Gleiss Lutz advises Virgin Green Fund on Acquisition of Stake in solar cell manufacturer Odersun AG

Virgin Green Fund has purchased a stake in the solar cell manufacturer Odersun AG, which has its headquarters in Frankfurt an der Oder. Virgin Green Fund is a fund belonging to the Virgin Group that specialises in investments in renewable energies. Virgin Green Fund’s investment is part of a financing round that also involved Doughty Hanson. The investment volume totals more than EUR 60 million.

Odersun AG manufactures solar cells, modules and applications for the production of electricity from sunlight. It develops and manufactures, among other things, non-silicon thin-film solar cells of different size and output categories using the CISCut process.
