Gleiss Lutz advises supervisory board of Daimler Truck on integration of Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino Motors

Daimler Truck and Toyota Motor Corporation, together with their respective group companies Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Hino Motors, Ltd., have concluded definitive agreements to integrate Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino on equal footing.

Mitsubishi Fuso and Hino will become subsidiaries of a new listed holding company based in Tokyo (Japan), in which Daimler Truck and Toyota are each expected hold a 25% stake. The aim is for the holding company to become a new Japanese truck powerhouse and a pioneer in the commercial vehicle landscape in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
