Gleiss Lutz has advised Scout24 Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG, on the sale of JobScout24 GmbH to US competitor CareerBuilder LLC.
With over 3.36 million users a month, Munich-based JobScout24 is one of Germany’s best-known online job boards. In the future it will be operated on CareerBuilder’s technical platform. The deal also includes the sale of Jobs.de, a popular job search engine.
Closing of the transaction is still subject to certain conditions. The parties have agreed not to discuss the financial details of the transaction.
