Gleiss Lutz advises NORMA Group on billion dollar sale of its Water Management Business to Advanced Drainage Systems

Gleiss Lutz has advised NORMA Group SE on the sale of its Water Management business unit to Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. The enterprise value of the transaction is 1 billion US dollars. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.

The Water Management business unit employs around 1,100 people at six production sites in the USA, Mexico, India, Malaysia and Italy as well as at additional sales and distribution locations. It develops, produces and markets irrigation systems, rainwater management products and connection components for water infrastructure.
