Gleiss Lutz advises Bosch Rexroth on the acquisition of Hägglunds Drives

Bosch Rexroth has acquired the Swedish company Hägglunds Drives AB from Ratos AB, a Swedish private equity firm. Hägglunds Drives develops, manufactures and services hydraulic drive systems, and has approximately 900 employees. The Group’s turnover in its last business year was approximately EUR 200 million. The acquisition of the Group enlarges Bosch Rexroth’s current industrial hydraulics portfolio. The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant regulatory authorities. According to a press release of the seller, Ratos AB, the transaction volume amounts to approximately EUR 450 million.

Gleiss Lutz is lead legal advisor to Bosch Rexroth in this transaction and coordinated inter alia the due diligence in 17 jurisdictions.
