Gleiss Lutz appoints new partner to strengthen its compliance practice

Gleiss Lutz has elected Dr. Eike Bicker to the partnership, thereby strengthening its strategically important and internationally oriented compliance practice.

Dr. Eike Bicker advises national and international clients on corporate law and compliance. He is specialized in strategic compliance advisory, compliance investigations and the set-up, implementation and development of compliance structures and measures. He has already been able to bring his expertise to bear in the area of strategic compliance advice, especially in connection with the cum-ex issue. As part of an interdisciplinary team of specialists, he is advising the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan on matters relating to the insolvency of Maple Bank. Eike Bicker has particular expertise in corporate governance issues, board matters and company group law issues. Before returning to Gleiss Lutz’s Frankfurt office in 2015, he was one of the founding partners of the compliance boutique Pohlmann & Company.
