In its special publication GRR 100, the British Global Restructuring Review has named Gleiss Lutz one of the 30 best law firms for restructuring worldwide. Gleiss Lutz is the only German law firm listed in this ranking. In its comments GRR stressed: “… Gleiss Lutz was among the first firms to develop a proper restructuring practice …”.

Gleiss Lutz’s restructuring practice is regularly involved in key restructuring and insolvency cases. For example, in the past few years Gleiss Lutz has assisted in the restructurings of Suhrkamp, Praktiker, A.T.U, IVG, Apcoa, Solarworld, centrotherm and the Rickmers Group. Recently, the British industry publication International Financial Law Review honoured the restructuring of HETA, in which Gleiss Lutz also played a key role, as “Restructuring Deal of the Year”. The German Handelsblatt newspaper awarded the restructuring of the Pfleiderer Group, in which Gleiss Lutz was also involved, the accolade of “Restructuring of 2016”.
