Gleiss Lutz advises CCC management in connection with sale to Ardian

Gleiss Lutz has advised the management of Competence Call Center Group (CCC), a portfolio company of the private equity fund Silverfleet capital, on the sale of the company to the Ardian Expansion IV fund managed by the investment company Ardian and on a possible reinvestment. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Closing of the transaction is still subject to the usual regulatory approvals.

Silverfleet Capital has been active as a private equity investor for more than 30 years in the European mid-market and, with a 28-strong investment team based in Munich, London, Stockholm and Paris, currently manages a volume of some 1.2 billion euros. Silverfleet Capital’s second independent fund closed in 2015 with a volume of 870 million euros.

The independent investment company Ardian currently manages assets to a value of some 65 billion US dollars for its investors in Europe, North America and Asia. Approximately 470 staff across twelve offices offer the 610 investors a large range of alternative investment classes.

CCC is one of the largest European providers for the outsourcing of business processes, with 5,500 employees across 18 locations in eight countries providing customer care and business process outsourcing services (BPO). CCC numbers among its customers leading, fast-growing companies from the B2C and social media sectors as well as large telecommunications providers and travel companies.
