The Federal Cartel Office imposed fines totalling around EUR 646 million in proceedings against four steel manufacturers and three responsible persons. The proceedings were focused on arrangements concerning specific additional charges as well as alloy and scrap surcharges for certain kinds of quarto plates in Germany.
