Gleiss Lutz advises Attikon on strategic partnership with Astorg

Gleiss Lutz has advised shareholders of Attikon Finanz AG on the investment by Astorg in connection with a strategic partnership. The members of the management board, the management team and further major shareholders will remain invested in Attikon as part of the strategic partnership. 

The closing of the transaction, which is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2025, is subject to merger control approval.

Attikon is a rapidly growing investment company headquartered in Düsseldorf, focused on acquiring and developing specialized insurance brokers for small and medium-sized enterprises. The company already comprises several brokerage firms in its platform and is committed to the goal of becoming one of the leading brokers in Germany through further growth and innovative concepts.

Astorg is a leading pan-european private equity firm with approximately EUR 23 billion assets under management. Its investment is intended to support Attikon in accelerating its acquisition strategy, enhancing digitalization across the platform, and expanding into complementary services such as managing general agent (MGA) capabilities.
