Stefan heads the IP practice of Gleiss Lutz. He advises and represents clients in connection with complex ICT projects (e.g. outsourcings, carve-outs, procurement projects), on data protection, e-commerce issues, licensing issues, IT audits as well as troubled ICT projects. Stefan has advised on numerous transactions in the technology sector. His practice also includes advising on matters involving both healthcare and unfair competition law and in trademark matters.

Vita

Stefan studied at the universities of Berlin, Geneva and Cornell/USA (LL.M. 1992). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2001. Stefan is a certified intellectual property law attorney and a certified lawyer for information technology law.

He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR), the German Association for Law and Computer Science (DGRI), the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) and the German-American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV). In 2013 and 2014 he co-chaired the IBA’s Technology Law Committee.

Stefan speaks German, English and French.
