Benedikt provides comprehensive advice in all areas of intellectual property law, especially in patent, unfair competition and trademark law. He has a focus on patent disputes in all areas of technology, including pharma, medical products, chemistry, consumer electronics, mechanical engineering and telecommunications. Furthermore he has specific expertise in the negotiation of licence and cooperation agreements, in matters of employee inventions and in technology-driven corporate transactions.
Vita
Benedikt studied at the universities of Bayreuth, Freiburg and Berkeley (LL.M. 2011). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2013. Benedikt is a certified intellectual property law attorney. Benedikt worked at an international law firm in New York in 2013 as part of his legal clerkship. From 2010 to 2011, he worked as a graduate research assistant at the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology (BCLT) of the University of California at Berkeley.
He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the German-American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV).
