Gleiss Lutz develops its finance practice, as Dr. Eva Reudelhuber moves to its Munich office

Gleiss Lutz will have a dedicated finance team in Munich from now on. Dr. Eva Reudelhuber, a partner previously at the Frankfurt office, has moved to Gleiss Lutz's Munich office to establish and develop the team there.

This means that Gleiss Lutz now has a finance team at another strategically important location in the finance sector. The move will also enable the firm to strengthen the close cooperation between its finance practice and the Munich office's strong M&A and private equity team.

Dr. Reudelhuber specialises in corporate financing for acquisitions, infrastructure and other projects, advising on complex financing transactions, including in restructurings. She is a member of the Loan Market Association's drafting commission regarding credit agreements and Schuldschein loans. At Gleiss Lutz she heads the Financial Institutions industry group. Industry rankings regularly recommend her as a leading lawyer for credit agreements and acquisition financing. “Establishing the new finance team in Munich and developing it in an attractive market environment is a challenge I'm looking forward to," Dr. Reudelhuber commented.

“This is an important step in the development of our finance practice. With Dr. Reudelhuber in Munich, Gleiss Lutz has a respected and well-connected finance expert there," said Prof. Michael Arnold, co-managing partner at Gleiss Lutz. Fellow co-managing partner Dr. Alexander Schwarz added: “We're glad that we now have a finance team in Munich, too. Working closely together with M&A and Private Equity, we'll be able to penetrate the Munich market even more extensively and systematically."

Gleiss Lutz opened its office in the Bavarian capital in 2001. Around 50 lawyers based there advise on all aspects of business law, across the full range of the firm's practice areas and in coordination with its other offices.
