Gleiss Lutz advises centrotherm photovoltaics on its IPO with listing in the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange

Gleiss Lutz has advised centrotherm photovoltaics AG, headquartered in Blaubeuren, on its listing in the Prime Standard segment of the Official Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. centrotherm is an internationally-active technology- and service-provider for producers. The company possesses business activities which cover major parts of the photovoltaic value chain.

As part of a public offer in Germany and private placements in certain other jurisdictions, a consortium of banks led by Citigroup Global Markets Limited placed a total of 5,350,000 no-par value shares (including over-allotment, without discounted employee shares) at a price of EUR 34.50 per share with investors. Of these, 4,000,000 shares stem from a capital increase of the company and 1,350,000 shares (including over-allotment) are from the portfolio of existing shareholders. The gross issue volume (including over-allotment, without discounted employee shares) amounted to approximately EUR 185 million. The shares of centrotherm photovoltaics AG are listed on the Official Market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as of October 12, 2007.
