Gleiss Lutz has again sent a visible signal against violence against women and girls as part of the Orange the World campaign.
In the evening hours of 25 November, the conference area on the 16th floor of its Frankfurt office was lit up in orange, making it clearly visible from far away.
Orange the World is an initiative by UN Women, the United Nations organisation dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. On 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women declared by the UN, buildings in numerous cities all over the world were lit up in orange to kick off 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
“We support the campaign’s aim to raise awareness of an issue that still receives too little public attention. Gleiss Lutz is dedicated to supporting women’s rights and a society that is free from violence”, said Dr. Ralf Morshäuser and Dr. Johann Wagner, co-managing partners at Gleiss Lutz, of its participation in the campaign.
In Frankfurt, Orange the World is an initiative of Zonta Club Frankfurt: https://www.zonta-frankfurt.de/ (German only)
