Gleiss Lutz honoured at Corporate Health Awards 2023

Gleiss Lutz emerged as the winner in the Legal category at the Corporate Health Awards on 7 December 2023. The firm was also awarded the “Seal of Excellence” for its outstanding corporate health management.

The Corporate Health Award is Germany’s best-known award for corporate health management. It is given to companies that are especially committed to keeping their employees healthy and that pursue a sustainable HR strategy. The award is the brainchild of EUPD Research and Handelsblatt.

“This recognition means a great deal to us,” said Gleiss Lutz co-managing partner Dr. Alexander Schwarz. “As a top law firm, our employees are our most important asset. Their physical and mental health is key to our success.”

“Our wellness initiative offers attractive and innovative incentives and helps employees become more aware of their own resources and how to mobilise them,” added Claudia Marx, Director Office Administration and Human Resources Support Staff, who is responsible for corporate health management at the firm. This year’s programme focused on good mental health, including a talk by Heike Henkel on motivation in high-pressure environments, a series of interactive workshops on strengthening resilience, vitality checks, HRV measurements, mental load training, meditation workshops with German rapper and philosopher Michael Curse Kurth and “challenges in motion”, such as a city cycling event.

“Gleiss Lutz’s corporate health management displays true excellence in both its scope and its method. Each year, the firm puts together an attractive and customised programme for its employees covering a wide range of needs and with a clear focus: ‘Together one – one team, one family, more energy’. Gleiss Lutz chooses who to work with based on its firmly rooted values and principles. That’s how it succeeds in inspiring and motivating employees with a rich and varied corporate health management programme year after year,” said Steffen Klink, COO at EUPD Research, in praise of Gleiss Lutz.
