Gleiss Lutz has advised a division of Austria’s voestalpine AG on the development of a basic model for a matrix organisation to be rolled out in the 20 plus jurisdictions covered by its High Performance Metals Division.
The new organisational structure will bring the business units under single management, guided by business needs and potential rather than corporate organisational entities, ensuring the company is even better equipped to meet the challenges of a changing market environment.
The High Performance Metals Division of the voestalpine Group focuses on the production and processing of high-performance materials and customer-specific services. The division is the global market leader in tool steel and one of the leading suppliers of other products made of high-performance materials. The most important customer segments are the automotive, oil and gas exploration, mechanical engineering, consumer goods and aerospace industries.
