Christian advises on collective and individual employment law. He focuses on advice in connection with service contracts for board members as well as on (cross-border) reorganizations, especially concerning co-determination issues. His practice also includes advice on works constitution, collective bargaining and industrial disputes.
Christian studied at the universities of Tuebingen (Dr. iur.), Fribourg/Switzerland and at Yale Law School/USA (LL.M.). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2011. Christian has been an Honorary Professor of the University of Mannheim since 2020.
Christian is a member of the German Bar Association’s Labour Law Working Group, of the German Bar Association's Committee for Labour Law and of the employment lawyers’ association “fachanwalt forum arbeitsrecht (ffa)”. He is co-editor of the law journal “Arbeitsrecht Aktuell” and "Fachdienst Arbeitsrecht".
He speaks German and English.
