Gleiss Lutz and its partner law firm, Stibbe, jointly advised itelligence AG on its takeover of the Dutch 2B Interactive B.V. itelligence will initially acquire 60 percent of the shares in 2B Interactive and then increase this holding to 100 percent. As part of the transaction, the companies are establishing a joint venture to which itelligence will also contribute its existing activities in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Like itelligence and 2B Interactive, the new holding will operate as a full-service IT provider in the area of SAP applications. The acquisition of 2B Interactive will help itelligence strengthen its market position in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2008 itelligence AG achieved total sales of EUR 216.6 million. 2B Interactive achieved sales of around EUR 15 million.
