“We are excited about this valuable addition to the team,” commented Dr. Christian Steinle, co-head of Gleiss Lutz’s compliance group. “Dirk Scherp’s expertise in criminal law adds an ever-more important component to our compliance practice. With his broad experience as a public prosecutor as well as his in-house expertise, he will be a valuable asset to our clients, especially in difficult negotiations with public prosecutors in compliance cases.”

Dr. Scherp on his appointment: “What particularly appealed to me was the opportunity to be a part of such a renowned team, advising companies on compliance not only nationally, but internationally too.”
