Dominik specialises in German and European restructuring law, insolvency law and banking insolvency law.

Dominik studied law at the University of Tübingen. LL.M. Tax. at the Saarland University. Dr. iur. at the University of Tübingen. Habilitation at the University of Bielefeld (postdoctoral qualification). Venia legendi for civil law, civil procedure, insolvency law and corporate law. Dominik has been active as Of Counsel for Gleiss Lutz since 2014. He has been a full professor for civil law, civil procedure and economic law, in particular corporate law at the Fulda University of Applied Sciences since 2014. Vice Dean since 2017, re-elected 2020. Guest lecturer of insolvency law in the U.S., England, Ireland and Switzerland. Appointment as a Visiting Professor at Nottingham Law School (England) in 2020. He worked as a lawyer and was appointed as a judge, working at courts of first and second instance. Expert hearings in banking insolvency law before EU institutions, ministries and supervisory authorities. Dominik is an author in the academic commentaries Soergel, Beck`schen Online-Großkommentar, Kübler/Prütting/Bork (Insolvency Code), Brinkmann (European Insolvency Regulation) and Beck/Samm/Kokemoor (German Banking Act).
