Michael’s practice covers mergers & acquisitions as well as corporate and competition law, with a focus on Asia-related cross-border transactions. He regularly advises Asian clients, especially Japanese, Korean and Chinese companies, on German and European law issues. In addition, Michael advises German companies on their business activities in Asia.

Vita
Michael studied at the universities of Bonn, Hamburg and Chicago (LL.M. 2003). He has been a partner of Gleiss Lutz since 2011. From 2006 to 2008 he worked at an international law firm in Tokyo. He is also admitted in New York State.

Michael speaks German, English, French, Japanese, Czech and Russian.
